How Methodry handles information: both the details you share through this site, and your business’s data if we come to work together. Last updated 17 June 2026.

Who we are

Methodry is an agentic-AI consultancy based in Edinburgh, United Kingdom. For any question about this notice or your data, write to hello@methodry.ai.

Part one

Information you share through this site

When you email us, we collect the details you choose to give. Typically that means your name, email address, the name of your business, and whatever you write. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.

We use these details only to reply to you and to consider whether we can help. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to genuine enquiries. We do not sell your information or share it for marketing. We keep enquiry details only as long as needed to respond and, where a working relationship follows, for the life of that relationship and a reasonable period afterwards. Otherwise we delete them.

Part two

Your business’s data when we work together

If we build and run agents for your business, those agents work with your business’s information. How we handle it is the same posture we describe across this site, set out plainly here.

It stays inside your boundary

The software we build runs where you already keep your data: on your own server, inside your own cloud account, or on a machine we run for you in a region we agree. Your information stays inside that boundary. We do not keep a central copy of it, and it is never pooled with another business.

Your own AI account

The agents use an AI model through an account that is yours, with a key you hold and can revoke at any time. Your data is never used to train shared AI models. When you run the system yourself, the key never leaves your systems. When we run it for you, we operate it under the written agreement below, and you can withdraw our access whenever you choose.

Deleting it is final

You can ask us to export or delete your business’s data at any time, and we will carry it out. The system is built so that erasure is final: each person or record is held under its own key, and when that key is destroyed the data can no longer be read. The record that something happened can remain; its contents do not.

The agreement that governs it

Before any work begins, we put a written agreement in place that sets out how your data is handled, including data-protection terms. Nothing in this notice replaces that agreement; it is where the detail for your engagement lives.

Your rights

You can ask us to show you the information we hold, correct it, or delete it. Email hello@methodry.ai and we will respond promptly. You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
